Mui Wo Village, Lantau. A baby called out to us from a hut. Kami almost ran into a buffalo. We saw a boat burning ceremony with chanters. We biked over shards and got yelled at. We found Hong Kong’s best used book store! It’s right across from the ferry terminal. I think it is called, quite simply, The Bookstore.
This has been up since August and it is mind boggling that no one has checked one of the boxes.

no comments »We went to Tung Po Seafood Restaurant at the Java Road Market today, featured in Anthony Bourdain’s Hong Kong edition of No Reservations. I couldn’t even attempt to name everything we ate but we sure drank a lot!! They put porcelain bowls in the fridge and pour beer into them so your beer stays cold.
